Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)
EMDR is a highly researched treatment protocol proven to be effective for PTSD and a variety of other conditions. One of its key advantages is how quickly it can produce results, often much faster than traditional "talk" therapy. The process works by reprocessing traumatic memories and reducing distressing negative beliefs. EMDR utilizes bilateral stimulation through eye movements, sounds, taps, or vibrations to aid in reprocessing these memories.
